Oh yes I'm aware. I just think they kept the blogpost pinned for a lot longer than was needed because when the show was announced this obviously made for an influx of newbies who wanted to read Homestuck. But instead all they saw was just the blogpost and the link to the youtube pilot. They read the blogpost, get understandably angry about it and start posting angry messages with the rest of the redditors in the sub. A bad game of telephone ensues where people who are new begin to think there is no way to read Homestuck anymore which just isn't true obviously, and there was already a pretty handy post they could make to easily fix this.
But the subreddit was filled with a lot of angry commenters for a while simply because of misinformation that I feel a simple pin could've fixed if they had done it a bit sooner. And it would've at least lessened the toxicity as well </3 At least they have pinned a new resource full of links so that's good. And the sub does look more calm then a few days ago.
