it's sad that this is probably true. it kind of just reminds me that a lot of queer representation is ignored if it's not seen as like "good enough" by fandoms. i also see a lot of people pointing to roxy's "transfem coding" in like argument for why trans man roxy is bad. and it's like, first of all they can both exist, but second a lot of the coding you may have been witnessing could be in relation to just. being trans in general. i think people just dont like that the hyper fem roxy turned out to be a trans dude. #gnc characters for life.

it's not even just being out of the loop. the fact that roxy canonically coming out isnt at all absorbed by the fandom is just insanity. i feel like a lot of homestuck fans fail to realize that dubiously and beyond canon works cannot be ignored. or , if someone sees those things as canon, they are right. hs fans will legit call these things NOT canon. and like, well yes and no, but its clear that canon as a concept is whats being challenged and made fun of here and the fact u are playing into it is sort of ironic
