Longsword fencing has always seemed sick as hell. There's a HEMA group in my city with a good reputation but I'm always flat broke when I get the time or way too busy when I've got the money for lessons so I can't ever get into it. Alas and alack and all that. One day, eventually, I will know how to use a sword. But until then, mad respect to everyone else willing to swing around a big chunk of metal and hit your friends and have your friends hit you, seems like good fun.
