In regards to the main topic, I don't really think Hussie has handled this in the best way possible. Do they have legal grounds to do what they want here? Sure.


Does that mean she should? I don't feel like it's so. At the end of the day, it would have been better to just leave Gio alone and decide against collaborating on the UHC; if Gio then decided to shit stir and made a big article about how their collaboration fell through, I feel it would be far better received by the greater fan space for Hussie to then reciprocate.


Instead, we're left with a situation where most people only immediately see Hussie using legal action because of what is being termed as "Strong arming" and 80% people are not going to delve deeper or look into this to form their own unique perspective. This all felt rather avoidable with hindsight.


The Homestuck fanspace hasn't felt calm for a long time. :(
