Hope you don't mind if I center attention to my own view for a second, because I've been meaning to talk about this without just shilling out of the blue. I've personally been a bit upset that homestuck.net is the only real option for hosting stuff like this, which is part of the reason I picked up making my own site, but not entirely (it was a project I had built as a typical shrine site first, and I was intimidated out of expanding it due to just how massive .net was, but I ended up picking it back up after this controversy). I would love to add more to it but I really have no idea how to make websites beyond manually compiling everything, so learning more about web dev is certainly on my bucket list.
