You can always try resolving duplicate threads right now by hopping into SQL and merging all of the posts into the earliest known thread, thus creating a gigantic mega-thread filled with every single post.
Since they're likely ordered by ID or date, this would make everyone's posts show up mixed together with one another's, resulting in a total clusterfuck of a 50+ page backlog. It may also cause major database issues.
But it would also be very funny.
