@Dream I personally struggle... heavily... to imagine a circumstance where I would give up being officially sponsored and collaborating with the actual creator of the project I was putting so much alleged effort into hosting a mirror of. Especially in order to save a blog post that frankly, most people don't even read anymore, they just go to someone else's youtube summary of it.

If anything it kind of really nails down Gio's goals if that's how he saw things. He didn't actually care about Homestuck that much, he just wants infamy from putting out "speculative blog posts". They clearly said from Gio's own description that he would have been able to rewrite said posts with updated sources, which if he was a real journalist would have been an opportunity to jump on. Because being able to say that he has NEW versions of his articles (that obviously SOMEONE would have saved somewhere else, come on) with information approved/given by ANDREW HUSSIE THEMSELVES would be the scoop of a lifetime. Even if it's exclusively retractions, he would be able to claim that everything left in the new articles is OFFICIAL. Which means they would be able to compare befores and afters on the reddit or wherever Gio's followers(?) are and speculate even more. It would mean that they would get even more attention and views to his posts, and then of course some people will want to see the originals and be able to find them. Like this shit is quite simple.

Gio played himself so badly and only for his own ego.
