Everyone here has a story about how awful an experience it was to be in that community and honestly, the fact that the bad actors from said community have flocked to this specific thread to engage in even more behavior for why it was such a terrible experience for so many people just illuminates the point the original poster was really trying to make all these pages ago. Even though Makin doesn't control any of these spaces, it's clear that he has at least garnered a safe space for bigotry in general, and that just isn't a healthy environment for any fandom to have. The fact that so many people who are just downright terrible feel so secure in being around him and in those spaces, is proof enough to me at least that something like FRAF was a long time coming, and that weak attempts at trying to make FRAF more and more like those other places will fail ultimately, since this is a space where people can push back against that bigotry without feeling pressured from all sides like in a Discord or Subreddit.
