i would probably consider it a straight up disservice to her character/character arc if he'll get there before EARLIEST halfway through the whole HSBC plot

i absolutely do hope that she'll get there eventually, simply bc it was indeed long since coming
but... he's literally dodging responsibility/commitment again rn just as when he was a teen

when we DO get there at some point tho i do hope Roxy and Rose will be very involved in picking her psyche free from places to hide that introspection away

what i hope doesnt happen (and i dont think it will but yaknow) is that Dirk gets to pull a "haha destroy your sense of self" and she puts herself together as June again
i feel that would be a bit of a cop-out and uhhhh kinda transphobic too probably

could be fun to have him contrubute to it tho, by gog does he know and love to monologue

my personal headcanon is honestly also that as Heir of Breath (Incarnation of Freedom/Formlessness) there is any and every flavour of queer and nonqueer in the infinite timelines of J Egbert, and none of them are lies
but i do also agree that the alpha timeline (if that even is still applicable) gotta end in June
