i have a chocolate chip cookie recipe that i altered and altered over the years until i landed on something that i really loved. i FORGOT to mention on the recipe though that i bake these on the CENTER-TOP rack and that if you bake them LOWER. they will get kinda crispy and flat. but thats some peoples thing!! i like them very slightly underbaked so theyre super soft and very precarious to dip into milk.

i make muffins regularly as well but theyre not my own recipes... one is Tim Cain's pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, hidden in the rpg Stonekeep (1995). genuinely THE most delectable muffins on planet earth.

The other is this random recipe from AllRecipes- the batter never looks good but when they come out theyre just the best. i lowkey dont even know if im making them right cuz mine never look like the photos. but theyre incredibly good anyways!! i dip these into milk too because its fun and cool.
