So, I think I can help with that actually. At least, I hope I can.

Aspects in homestuck are narrative devices. Their significance comes from the way the concepts work in the story and how the characters feel about them or interact with them. It's why some aspects even involve the word narrative when many people describe them. Breath means narrative freedom, or not letting the story hold you back. Light is narrative significance and luck, things that are important to the story, and luck meaning the things that have to go right for the story to go the right way (like when a main character takes a huge risk that HAS to succeed for the story to continue correctly). Void represents the things that allude the main characters. Stuff like that.

You can figure out your own aspect by viewing your life as a story that both you and the universe itself are authoring. What ideas in life do you feel a deep connection to that have a connection to one of the aspects? Classes are how you interact with those aspects. What way do you interact with a narrative concept in your life the most? But also, what are your goals in life? What do you hope to accomplish? Or, what have you already accomplished? How have you or how do you plan to do that?

Vriska is a Thief of Light because in the story, she feels like her luck has been taken from her and her ability to gain important knowledge about the narrative, specifically about the omniscient creep who's pulling a lot of strings within the story, was stolen. So the fact she's able to steal light back for herself is important to her and significant to her character arc. Jade is someone who the concept of space is important to, creativity and creation, caring for others, those ideas that are associated with space are significant to her, but in Homestuck, the aspect of space seems to be against her and all the main character favor. The way she manipulates and breaks the rules of space are the important things that she does in the story. Witches manipulate their aspect to break the rules of it and work with powerful forces in order to bend it to their will, which Jade did when she helped Alt Calliope.

Kanaya, a sylph, says she's similar to a witch but more magical. While she never reached the full potential of her actual powers, her goal was to heal space, create a new universe and continue on the existence of her people. Sylph's manipulate space in order to fix it rather than break it, which is what she aspired to do. They heal their aspect and heal others with their aspect by manifesting it.

On my profile you can find a link to a google doc in the user comments section. It's got a more concise explanation for every class and aspect. I'd recommend looking over every class and aspect objectively before trying to apply anything to yourself. A big part of why I made it was because I wanted a document that would help people classpect themselves easier that wasn't just a random quiz. If nothing I said here really helps a lot, hopefully that does at least. Good luck! I'm curious to see what you think fits you.
