great work! i enjoy this.
i have a question for you. why do you pair sylph-/heir+ and witch-/maid+? for me, i pair maid-/sylph+ and heir-/witch+, but admittedly im not as sure about those ones, so im curious about your interpretation.
also, i think that seers are active and mages are passive. quoting your definition, active=selfish, passive=selfless. i often see people assume seers are passive, but look at examples of seers in the comic: rose, terezi, and kankri. their character arcs are all about hubris and their own personal all consuming quest, for rose it was breaking the game, for terezi delivering justice, and for kankri achieving equality. seers think they know everything and use their knowledge for their own desires. meanwhile look at our mages: sollux and meulin. solluxs doom prophecies always saved everyone but himself, and meulin was described as a "genius matchmaker who was unlucky in love." their powers are quite selfless!
oh, also i think knights are passive and pages are active. knights protect others even at personal expense, and pages function best when theyre left to their own devices to grow at their own pace in their own way--their personal growth/journey seems like its primarily for themselves.
