In topic: "Selene's Insane Attempt At Classpecting The New Characters Before We Even Know Their Names"

All interesting takes I must say. I admit my own insights and thought as to the Omega Kid Team are pretty biased by metatextual information suggesting the omega kids have classpects "never seen before" and the clarification on that implying they have aspects we have not seen a "Human team" have. Which narrows it down to four.

By no means is that conclusive but it's always been a bit odd how well they line up to me, to wit:

Yiffy: I think most people read them as a rage player for good reason, even if that's, again, not hard locked in for any specific reason. However, they have been doing a rage player's job very well thus far. Bringing Kanaya to full fury based on Rose's actions and, I imagine, resulting in a positive confrontation about Rose's mental state for years, Tavvy being driven to battle and then rejecting his emotionally abusive mother, Dirk also seems perturbed and upset by the concept of Yiffy and she's even kicked off -or so we assume- a fight with Vrissy. Rage is not just anger but passion and emotional drive and that's a great state for her to be.

Harry: Always the tricky one to classpect given their "Normal Human Dude" roll...But I think there's enough there to move a chip towards blood for them. Much as HSBC has put a good shoulder behind blood player karkat having the interpersonal empathy to Fix Some Problems with people (or at least in Candy) I think Harry's clear behaviour of being the mediator and calming (attempted or otherewise) force that gets dragged around by histrionic teens qualifies. Blood and it's portfolio is also what they're often concerned with given their relationship with their biological father and the broader omega team. If you count being a troll as being related enough to count as "Blood related" to a troll (or at least the grand matriarch) Harry is related by blood or strict legal enjoiners to all the other omegas .

Tavvy: Reads as doom from the jump to me and still does. He's a detail oriented born to be a cog in the machine type that was crushed by the same machine and now reads as the type to point out he found a loophole in the contract allowing him to legally spray paint a swear word on someone's living room walls. Malicious Compliance is how the machine really breaks and Tavvy will do it. This mostly works if he's a destroyer class, which is something I'll get too shortly.

Vrissy: Light makes sense as the immediate assumption...But Vrissy is not technically a Serket. She's a Maryam-Lalonde. I'd even go so far as to say she's less Vriska's clone and more like her twin sister in terms of implied repetition of themes and interests. Which we don't actually know much about. Vrissy's room was never seen, nor was her home and living conditions disclosed to the same level the others were. That will probably help us classpect her alot better when we get around to it. For the time being...I've got to say Mind feels spot on for her. Related in themes to Light, it's something she's displayed and if I might be so bold, mind always seemed like what happens when you fuse light and space. It's the physical calculus and intuition from facts around rather than esoterica like fortune and knowledge as a concept. She's also been shown using her mind powers and I recall Vriska as much as says she can do things that Vriska can't. Given I've also imagined her arc is "not being vriska, being Vrissy" that washes well.

As for the deltas:
Given the omegas are probably not a viable team given alt-callie's plan is to spike the universe turn and pour amber over "Homestuck" and indeed, there are allusions to the alpha team all through their concepts I most certainly agree that The Delta Team is probably a viable one with a space/time player combo.

Who that is is TRICKY though given their are alot of overlapping metatextual clues.

Ly'lac being a bad gardener could allude to a page of space, or a destroyer class...But might just as easily be more theming that the nymphs are Rosebot's attempt at a symbolic union of her and Kanaya. Something that might continue. Her associations with bombs and timing points to do though. Let alone her epitaph being a synonym for "Last Clap". Both doomy.

But then that'd put doubles into a combined team that has only ten members... Not that it hasn't happened before. We've doubled up on light, time and space before after all with active players .

AA is a bit more...Obvious. Called an oracle, seemingly obsessed with prophesy being enacted. Very insistent on things happening by certain times or "The time is right" stuff. While also being maroon and having Aradia's tag. Interesting there given the only other time players Rose knows are dave and caliborn. Of course it's more probable the finer details are Terezi's doing. But I think it's safe to say AA being a time player is sensical. Maybe even a light player too.

CC is probably the friend that sends Ly'lac the flowers, has green text and from the very brief look into her text colour and possible quirk and typing style. She reads, to me at least, like a bit of blend of feferi and roxy, both of whom have associations to Rose specifically at least, with life and providence. For a constructed SHUSK team that likely carries over to space given the space player is sort of the "Parent" of the universe through the frog breeding. They'd also carry over the allusion to fabrics and the cloisetered element from kanaya.

This would also park the time/space team on the nymph side . Either intentionally from Dirk and Rosebot or Terezi did something...Interesting and sidelined dirk's species just for the big funny.

TC....Also reads as space fairly well with their interest in technology, and the CHA.OS thing. They're very chill though and their handle does alude to "Vibrating or buzzing energy". Very interesting that. Light player maybe?

No clue on the others beyond AT seeming to be a mod and probably has a bit of karkat in them if I can reach back and recall Karkat's early team leader days.

CT hmmm. The name suggests a bit of a lunk and/or possible jock sorta type. But that might be aspirational. In general the satyrs seem to present quite masculine an given Rosebot's team are all female, it's an obvious matriarchal or at least female leaning society and there's ALOT of her poured into them we generally can assume the satyrs are similar, with perhaps some Jake strewn about the way Kanaya is for the nymphs. A nathan drake/indiana jones style action scientist? Who is to know there.

Regarding classes: It's also happenstance that we're missing four CLASSES unseen on a majority human team. Bard, thief, sylph and mage. It's all fitting things onto one another and classes are really very variable but they also happen to fit the omegas pretty well in a few configurations.

Mage of Rage (Which also sounds like a punk band or punk band leader epitaph) Yiffy is pretty good. She's used her knowledge of passion, people's motivation and what gets under their skin well so far and indeed, caused it by her very being or minor activities from jade to kanaya to Vrissy to Jane and the entire crocker corp.
Thief of Mind Vrissy melds her aspect with her mentor/gene mother's class and techniques suggesting a synthesis of her various guardians, mentors and teachers in her mothers and Vriska. It also blends Scourge Sisters in a new and fun way
Bard of Doom Tavvy does similar. His hated uncle's methods as a joke on those that stymied and raised them at once, while using the mechanics of their detail orientated but ever more wildly executed skills and insights to mess the works up all over (We do know tavvy is very well featured in the upcoming material and they have alot of skills the others lack. I'd read that as doom's association with rules and mechanics and their march to the end of things). Of course this does also suggest Tavvy might be having a rough go of the session...But then he already has.
This leaves us with Sylph of Blood Harry. And you know what? If any character in HSBC would be "Oh that's cool I'm down" about finally testing the "the classes are not gendered calliope just assumed that" statement it's him. One who repairs and fixes blood/relationships/passions also sums up their "given the magical power of empathy and moderated, reasonable emotional responses" status as The Egbert and all.

I also postulate you can swap Harry and Vrissy's classes fairly easily. "Repairing rage" can be construed as one that evokes where it should be to a positive end. Inflaming passions where they were not and using rage, passion and emotional effort to burn away misconceptions, stagnation and so on. Very Punk. (and also a very on point interpretation of the candy rosemary situation. Kanaya can't possibly have not noticed a thing for 15 years without some "Its Fine I Am Sure" rose coloured glasses.). Which leaves mage of blood Harry. Who as a theatre kid would be in the business of knowing characters, motivations, tropes and ways to get through to people using their acting skills or past characters and stage direction. That does feel like the mage of blood's power set.
