taken separately, they each refer to my cartographic (my favorite map projection is the equidistant cylindrical projection -- epsg:4326 on qgis) and linguistic (i like to learn about languages for its own pleasure and to better improve my translation skills w/o necessarily learning to be fluent) interests respectively

and taken as a whole, it is a nod to the fact that the languages of the songs/texts i have translated cut across all the world's space, and maybe time too if we include ancient hebrew
