i'm not from texas but a few months ago i flew out to visit my bff that moved to bee cave a year or so back, and MAN that whole area is so breathtakingly beautiful. i really wanna go back this summer and paint some of the vistas. i went into austin one of the days i was there and we went to the blanton museum which i loved! i was really excited to see "cerrado por brujería" by luis felipe noe in person and it absolutely did not disappoint. also p terry's is so good wtf.

never been to bee cave but lookin it up and yeah it looks pretty... perhaps i should consider visiting. ive only been to the museums in dallas

rosa's cafe is a pretty good texas chain if you're in the mood for picadillo-style beef tacos/burritos. sadly dave would never have had them bc they aren't in houston.

i should really ggive rosa's cafe a chance one of these days I've kept putting off going there whenever I've been offered the opportunity...

I'm not from TX but I moved here when I was 14, I remember visiting in the summer & how it was hot but wasn't muggy. In Michigan when it's hot it's unbearably humid, but it felt clear and crisp in comparison. My mom kept pointing out how big the sky looks here.

DQ is yummy but does anyone else get so nauseous they have to lay down when they get it or am I just fucked up beyond belief

i am from texas! cant contribute to the whataburger convo cuz i never really go there myself but, is anyone here old enough to remember the old texasstuck days from like 2014? there used to be 4/13 meetups every year in austin which was really neat.

unfortunately im too much of a baby to have ever even Known about texasstuck (i started reading in 2017 when i was 12) i think the only meetup i was close to seeing was one at AKon 2019(?) but i missed it :( lots of homestucks at that con though heh heh
