before that i was putting my answers on tumblr, twitter and discord. but as the years went by... the retroactive cognitive dissonance created from putting my essence on those sites was so intense that long standing wars of outdated information still rage on to this day...
so i need something stable to carry the weight of my huge brain. unfortunately, i'm not powerful enough to stop the march of time (yet). history will inevitably repeat itself, but until this place tears itself apart- this thread is my new venue!

We'll be talking more about it in an upcoming newspost on the DCRC site, but the team is currently working on the next full section of the Scene Select. Once we're finished with it, we'll likely be publishing it in chunks over the coming months as we work on the next section in the background. I cannot give an estimate as to when we'll start updating again, but I'd say we're half way through the current section right now! there are a few answers i have loaded in the chamber, but inscryption is the most recent example. i'm one of those freaks who preferred the beginning in the cabin and wish it didn't dive headfirst into the metanarrative robot plot afterwards. interesting twist! i like metatext as much as the next guy. just not when it's that hamfisted

we've ALWAYS had ancestor plans, we just haven't gotten into the thick of it yet. check back in act 3 act 2!
oh, and if you want occeus ancestor details, maybe pour over that conversation between the principal and the executive at the start of jentha's backstory. not a lot of people got that hint!

not really my type of game tbh, but i played a lot of the major players of the early 2000's! toontown obviously, fusion fall, nicktropolis, and world of warcraft up to cataclysm. though i only ever took toontown seriously because my attention span was too terrible for all of the necessary management to play optimally

always wanted to find a way to get good at guitar or drums but my talent has always been vocals. i was in choir for most of my school career and had a good few solos, plus performing for the state! definitely out of tune, but i still sing for fun on occasion

it's going slow and steady! we may have scoped our creeps a little much, as ours (my) ambitions are often wont to do... it's fully planned with a loaded design doc, a good chunk of it is written, a solid piece of it is programmed, and not a lot of it is drawn. we still have a while until we put it in the comic though so a lot of work is mostly preliminary until we decide to pull the plug and put our noses to the monochromatic grindstone that may or may not exist. either way, we're beating our heads into something eventually!

similar state to the walkaround! i've done a general outline and we know what it is and how we're gonna do it, it just hasn't been something we've focused on. since fans gave so much to get it, we really want to stew on it and make it something special! i guess you could maybe consider whatever the finished product is a glimpse at the wartorn trails that never was? man i need to get back on that archive too. too much shit, not enough arms to spread it around effectively.

this is a guy with an electric whisk and a condiment dispenser in his hand who goes into cultist hideouts wearing scooby doo disguises, a slapstick routine is almost guaranteed. i'm sure talald would be willing to oblige him!
