I’ve always been curious of what the alpha trolls’ session was like, since we only hear of it in retrospect after Meenah kills everyone. What other characters or storylines did you all want to see more of?

seconding feferi and nepeta. it'd have been interesting to see fef's treatment of other trolls and her developing belief system considering she was the heiress of alternia and had a huge role in creating dream bubbles. nepeta's screentime was also cut way too short imo. she's very likeable and i would've loved to see more interactions between her and the other trolls, especially equius.

Aranea! I know she got to do a whole bunch in Game Over and did a good job explaining classpects and everything but then she just kinda... vanished. Which, don't get me wrong, is genuinely terrifying because of how many unanswered questions it leaves about the Ring of Life, but DAMN do I wish we could see more of her.
Out of all the characters who tried to change the timeline just to see if they could, Aranea did the best job trying. She is a fully realised Sylph of Light, one who mends fortune. She realised the implications of that and went full scale antihero with it. She stopped seeing canon through the eyes of the players and saw it through the eyes of a GOD, like she should. But for doing so, she was killed by her alternate timeline girlfriend and banished into nothingness.
Honestly, writing all this out I have just come up with a way to get her back. Meenah kidnaps Roxy and forces him to use his void powers to reach into the void and steal back her best friend! It's literally what HIC did with the Matriorb, but better because Aranea is worth more than the future of the troll's lineage.

in a purely self-indulgent way, i wish we got to see more of the post-scratch guardians. although they served their purpose, post-scratch dave & post-scratch rose are so fascinating to me. would've loved to hear more about them, but i dont even know what.
not purely self-indulgent, i wish we would've saw more from feferi, nepeta, & equius. perhaps i just need to focus on them more in my next reread but i wouldve loved to hear more from them and see more interactions between these characters and others.
i used to wish we saw more of the dancestors, but i honestly think its just my desire that the dancestors were better characters. i understand the point of their characters, but well, hussie definitely succeeded in pissing people off with them. i'd say its not really a wish that we saw more of them but more that what we saw of them was like. better. i have feelings about damara and the experiences she is forced to go through, but i second wickawick in wishing she wasn't a racist-ass caricature. i don't really think there's much that can be done to fix the dancestors within canon though. i will sit over here sipping on my fanon juice.

@stowaway Interesting, I think Aranea got a perfect ending to her character arc and showcased what can happen if you try to fight the predestination/narrative of paradox space.
She tried to hijack the story and lead it in a different direction falling into her lineage's trap of trying to seize relevancy for themselves. For that, she was punished, basically being banned from ever being relevant again. Even when she appeared in the epilogues, she wasn't given dialogue and was knocked out inmediatly.
Basically, getting an ending that was tied to her falling into the Serket curse, and also serving as the ultimate evidence to the idea that the only way the heroes could avoid their fate and the pain that paradox space brings was by leaving.

All of the carapacians, but especially the beta kids' Jack Noir/Bec Noir. All of the carapacians got SO shafted once Act 6 hit.
Bec Noir in particular was such a HUGE part of the beta kids' session, and was a literal amalgamation of things that were important to or representative of each of the kids. The fact that such a personal, intentionally constructed villain got essentially two scenes before being beaten in Collide was just a crime imo.
