I love Calliope, but what do you all think of her?
Hiya. Just a random question, but you know what a majority vote is?
I love Calliope! I'm a sucker for her polite and rather chintzy manner of speaking. She really does embody her "passive" classpect: Calliope's influence on the story is really subtle, and she does her best work whilst dead. And we get flashes of a very alien outlook from her - like when she says she was fine with being dumped by (one version of) Roxy, since the misery she felt was an interesting cultural experience.

naybe if she had an M16, i'd look at her more fondly.

id consider the introduction of cherubs in general to be the most enjoyable part of act 6. her appearance actually surprised me; despite the art i had seen before i got to act 6, i never saw her. roxy was also my favorite alpha kid, so naturally i have more of a fondness for callie than caliborn.

Or, if you're asking why I'm here with such a poorly thought out opinion based on biases, then my answer is that I simply wanted to comment on something. I apologize if it wasn't a very good call to do so.
callie is great, but to me she also has so much transfem subtext its kindn of unreal woman whos appearance is initially seen as monstrous and hides her appearance as something more "presentable" at the expense of her true self until the people around her help her appreciate her for who she is and not just the facade she puts up, not to mention that she initially shares a body with the violent hypermasculine caliborn.
