ok i'm just one episode into avenue 5 and this perma-sunglassed platinum blonde ceo bears a striking resemblance to that guy who got broiled in broth at the LOHACSE
beyond his impeccable taste in interior eyewear and wearing red, herman judd (played by josh gad) really comes across as "wow that's just dave"
points for:
- more dollars than sense. classic homestuck weenieboy trait of needing competent (and occasionally cutthroat) women on his team to tell him how to use his powers
- this guy rambles a lot. like not a trademark 7 pm central strider ramble right into your DMs but it's close enough to start infringing but short enough for television
- can you tell me he doesn't want to be a cool dude. titanium bleach job and a gold chain?
- as ceo he's on all the tvs, like noted infohazard dave strider
- could probably be a white rapper. he hasn't actually done so to my knowledge but he likes the sound of his own voice
points against:
- limited understanding of time dilation. however his demand to speed up the video call transmission rate is so laughably dumb (relativity violation) that it has gotten people killed. so it's probably fair if he isn't a knight of time and not naturally inclined to understand time travel as making sick beats
- has not demonstrated affinity for bladekind yet
