Stummy (or Vivi) is an artist that I'm not sure I would've appreciated if I discovered her any time before college. Her music was, at first, discomforting, but giving her music the chance and listening to the entirety of her debut album and then SOPHOMORE SLUMP CALLITHUMP cemented her as one of my favorite artists ever. I think I listen to at least one Stummy song a day, and I have been doing so for the last... IDK year? It's so evocative and emotional and proudly panic-inducing and sometimes it makes me want to cry (or I just do cry straight up). Her music has genuinely helped me through the past year of college (among other musicians, of course, but her music especially!). My fave tracks from each album are probably Folie a deux, anarchy!! and either BAMBI or My Diorama.
