I read the whole article and Jesus Christ. Andrew has had a reputation of doing stuff like this so if it's all true I wouldn't be surprised. It also explains a lot of things from the past few months. I really hope it's just BS because my god it's really bad

Like a massive takeaway from the article is that if it was going through the HICU, it was gonna end up at hussies doorstep regardless of the knowledge of the people outside the inner circle.

Again, I can tell you this with absolute 100% confidence, Andrew is not present at the meetings where the HICU gives their input on our nominations list for FRAF.

I'm going to be completely honest when I say that if you do not consider shredding your license agreement with Homestuck then this project is completely and utterly compromised.

Do you not think that maybe the FRAF members have a little more working knowledge of what's actually going on than you do, dingus?

I'll be honest (and that's the cynical part of me that talks), since some hours and since the thing exploded here, I've already seen a bunch of shit being said about Hussie, about Gio, about the HICU and all... and I think it's a mess.

Like, I can believe Cami in what she says and that everyone who has the licenses has no problem because of that, I want to be in good faith. The mess here comes from the fact that, in one hand, Andrew did some shitty stuff and might have probably done more here but, in the other hand, Gio (according to others) is not 100% honest in what he says and might be a transphobe. Plus, the fact that because everyone is heated at the moment (and it's understandable, I ain't very happy about the UHC news either)... yeah, it's kind of a war zone.

In that case, I personally am very hesitant to pick a side or shit like that.

I would say, however, that in that case, just supportng fanworks even more might be the best thing to do going forward. Honestly, I'm enthusiastic about FRAF, I really want y'all to succeed in what you want to do! And ultimately, I just hope that whatever happens next with this whole shitshow, this won't impact other creators.

(yeah, this would be very easy to assume HS fanworks might suffer from that, personally, I want to believe that it won't. If it all crashes down anyway, I'll allow you to laugh at me)

Why does Andrew speak on *behalf* of HICU, then, or use it as a shield? That’s what I want to know.

he has mentioned multiple times that despite his past experiences he was looking forward to make uhc to be used in an official capacity, but then we see how instead it's turned old interpersonal drama just so Andrew can be fed into his own god complex.

I've had a neutral stance regarding hussie even though I've been here since 2018 and seen the dramas come and go by, but this is just unbearable at this point

if you've read the article proper, you can see that it says:

I don't understand how and why people keep believing 1 guy who is known to spread rumors and harm the Homestuck community instead of people who literally work in the system and know how things work.
Also, a big thing I don't understand: Hussie is the creator of Homestuck and the rights holder. Even if HICU would need to run everything through Hussie (which they don't), it wouldn't be an insane thing. And yet it's not the case. AND they allow an insane amount of fan work, including selling merch of fan works, which I can't even imagine most other creators doing. You all need to stop.
