so to recap, the current cast is Toby Fox (John), Cherami Leigh (Rose), Adam McArthur (Dave), Colleen O’Shaughnessey (Jade), and Brandon Winckler (Karkat). i have mixed feelings on this so far (i dont think theyll do a bad job, but Oh My God Theyre All White), but have also been speculating on what VAs we'll end up with for the rest of the cast.
I think Ayo Edebiri would do a really good Calliope or Roxy (though honestly I'd love her as Jade). My other picks would be Jason Mantzoukas (Sollux), Marin M. Miller (Terezi), Weird Al (hear me out: Caliborn) and Johnny Yong Bosch (idk who we just need to get him in there). and it wouldve been funnier if Toby Fox was voicing Hussie. like. i understand why they didnt do that but come on
will be interesting to see if the midnight crew/exiles/other characters that only speak through narration will get VAs, or if therell be some sort of narration during their parts (or if theyll be there at all). SungWon Cho could do a Jack Noir. i believe this in my heart. worst case & most likely scenario for HIC is Awkwafina

Duude Nic Cage equius would be hilarious, either way I don't rly have a big wishlist for VAs, I think when it comes to the trolls though it'd be cool if they got an asian voice actor for Aradia imo, same goes for Damara but they REALLY need to change the general bit she had with her talking if the show ever gets to that point where the dancestors show up, my only real concern is if all the VAs are just white it might be a bit awkward with certain scenes. Actually I lied I also want Matt Berry somewhere, he could do doc scratch
