I think dave's whole deal with moms can pretty easily be spun into a reading about wanting to be a mom, especially taking into account his entry item (both through seppucrow incubating the egg and retroactively with trans terminology about eggs) and his struggle with and rejection of the masculine role beta dirk pushed him into. I even think this ties deeply into his falling out with dirk in the epilogues, as the last real conversation we get between him and dirk is the rooftop conversation where he and dirk talk about their respective bros and how dave's bro was basically the exact kind of person dirk fears he is deep down and dirk never knew his bro but he and others liked to think he was the exact super cool stoic masculine irony man that beta dirk tried to raise dave to be which he hated.

talking about other transfem readings something I really appreciate abt a transfem jade reading is the way post canon doesn't treat her having a dick as thing that makes her manly or less of a woman.

tavros and june are pretty obvious ones I think and I'm a fan. jake is a really good one. I haven't seen them much anywhere but harry, tavvy, and yiffy are all good ones imo. caliborn is like my choice pick for "transitioning would not save her but it would be really funny"

I think the only characters I couldn't really see myself being persuaded in some way on seeing them as transfem are dirk, aranea (bait and switch opposite vriska so she's cis imo), and vrissy (for now)

i can see all beta trolls but equius being transfem... idk the idea of him being transfem really irks me w/ the context of the whole comic even in au scenarios... maybe im just bitchy idk i dont mind u urself think trans!Equius is neat im just not into it myself

There's something so inherently interesting about Transfem June for me. The way there's like actual symbolism to her being trans and shit, with her conservative beliefs about her life and identity and her post-God Tier themes of freedom from that constrained mindset. That's something I've never seen unintentionally done in a piece of media not made by a trans woman. I know that Andrew is like clowngender/agender/genderfluid/one of those but it's still a first.

I probably headcannon about half of the cast as transform (June, Kanaya, Jake, Vriska, etc.) but the main one I think about is Aradia. More as a trans metaphor really, with her ghost self being pre-transition. Her change in demeanor and character once she becomes alive again is just something I really relate to.

I'm not very good at these, the gender juice sloshing around inside my skull hasn't formed a coherent identity outside basic bitch cisboy, but somewhere in there my brain says "Kanaya". I think her general vibe works pretty well for it. I heard someone compare her arc to that of reproductive dysphoria once.

june roxy and vriska are my 3 favorite homestuck characters and the ones I most prevalently hc as transfem. callie is also up there because her entire character is extremely transfem coded. but really every homestuck character is transfem if you are blessed with the knowledge to see the truth

Jade Harley specifically has the most sauce to a transfem reading out of any of the Homestuck (2009-2016) cast, even more substantial than Vriska herself.

emphasizing my post about dave wanting to be a mom because honestly I really do feel the dave mom symbology in homestuck is second only to kanaya herself due to kanaya's being explicit and dave's not

june, roxy, rose, kanaya, vriska, all come to mind. i especially like transfem rose personally

definitely lara english!! I wasn't even much of an english-head before but after encountering this headcanon she's one of my favorite characters. Glad to see that others in this thread have also mentioned her :D
