"Without love, it cannot be seen."
duckbuster there is now a thread for the charmuro. i want to hear every word. need to hear every word in fact.
That's it, I'm gonna do what I should have done a long time ago.
I'm going to beat him to death with this hammer.

HUGE HUGE FAN OF GUNDAM HERE,
big fan of charmuro and their whole saga but my most fav show has to go to either ZZ or Turn A, its peag
big fan of butches, not so much butchers
okay BACK on topic............ homestuck..........
anyone else insane about classpecting? just total bonkers crazy about it?
the epilogues are the best part of homestuck
I'm actually not that crazy on it, kinda was when I was still reading it but if i reread it I'll bet i focus in on it a bit more than last time
big fan of butches, not so much butchers
my brain is a hungry beast for it. it chomps and it bites and it gnarls for a mere scrap of classpecting. i think just because when I was first reading it, it was kind of the main way i had to interact with it irl? I, like a lot of people, was kind of obsessed with the idea of homestuck but REAL?? in REAL LIFE?! and classpecting was the best vehicle i had for that. and now we're half my life later and i'm still a periodically falling down the rabbit hole

re: duckbuster
Classpecting is one of my favorite parts of the comic! I find myself always classpecting my friends or characters in other media for fun. I wish there was more cannon content available because a lot of the classes and aspects are mostly speculation or heavily rely on the personality of the 2-3 characters in the comic that have them.
i'm fujoshing out
i honestly only really cared for the alchemitizing, everything else seems secondary.
my sea, my tirtha.
Yes. I would say that it is my favorite.
This post was a Magic Mirror production. Problem Soothe, now playing in a theater near you: https://magic-mirror.neocities.org/problemsoothe/ps0000
@rinshn
I completely agree. no matter how well I feel like I've figured stuff out, it always makes me feel a little bit insane that at any moment the entire thing could be blown apart. knights could secretly be the passive counterpart to sylphs, who knows! part of the fun has definitely always been in the various fan interpretations, but i do still find myself wishing there was a little more concrete to go off of

Homestuck is indeed “GOATed” as the kids are saying these days.
This is some straight up delirious biznasty, Dawg!!
i'm currently watching my gf read a6i2 and it's so good. homestuck is so good and silly and funny. what if a girl was a dog!! genius
the epilogues are the best part of homestuck
bumping this thread again i recommend that everyone should (re)read homestuck it's quite good and i think if you let yourself just read it as a text without the paratext of fandom discourse you'll get a lot more out of it
"Without love, it cannot be seen."
Very true! Despite the general consensus of "Homestuck is the worst", it didn't become so popular and influential and beloved by being an Inherently Bad piece of media. It's an unironically good story with actual things to say and we ought to recognize that more!
Homestuck is a wonderfully complex and deep narrative. As I constantly say it is the modern day Illiad.
Since I'm a contrarian, I MUST say that I hate homestuck within the homestuck fan forum!
But in all seriousness Homestuck's meant a lot to me over the last few years. I do think it's one of the best comics I've ever read (if you can even consider it fully a comic considering everything). It's changed my life. And I mean... The story's rough. Really rough. But I still think it's... relatively decent as a story. But for what homestuck was going for, it's perfect.
HAA HAA. HEE HEE. HOO HOO. HAA HAA. HEE HEE. HOO HOO.
genuinely convinced that "homestuck is bad" is a psyop... for the longest time i thought "homestuck is terrible" were just jokes and we were all exaggerating for the sake of comedy, but apparently a lot of people genuinely do think homestuck is bad in terms of quality? and it's like, what? i can only imagine holding that opinion as a homestuck fan if you only read it once as a child and didn't touch it in years since.
also i guess it's partially because everything hussie says is bathed in irony and a lot of people take them joking abt hs to mean "homestuck is ironic nonsense that has nothing to say" and it's like ok did we read the same comic or
RE: lizardanya
Fully agree, I think Homestuck is good actually (hot take)
Genuinely I think its wild that so many prominent figures in the community claim that they like Homestuck but do nothing but talk shit about it and will seemingly stop at nothing to see it ruined for everyone. Like, if you hate Homestuck so much that you are doing everything in your power to stop it from continuing to be made, why not just leave instead of trying to make the lives of the people working on it and around it for the people that do still like Homestuck a living hell?
kind of reminds me of people who still Hate watch RWBY and will make whole blogposts dedicated to how much they hate any and all new RWBY stuff lol
Homestuck is incredible. It absolutely mesmerized me as a teen and coming back as an adult and rereading it just made me love it even more. It’s an unparalleled work of art that i think had proven itself as timeless and infinitely relevant and I'm really, really happy that it's having such a vibrant renaissance right now
