Hi.
Found a bug? Think something's broken? Think a feature might make the site better?
Post about it here, and read the thread in advance to make sure it's not been reported already or requested.
If you can reproduce it/diagram it out for us, even better.
Think you found a security vulnerability? A critical exploit?
Please email us directly at [email protected] with a description and your username.
If legitimate, we just might have an exclusive forum reward waiting for you...
SHAPED OR MOLDED FORMS appear to have been formed from a plastic material through directly applied force.
ABSTRACT FORMS are of uncertain origin.
1. Topics need a backlink to their corresponding board
2. A search page is needed to avoid repeat topics
age is calculated incorrectly, it seems to subtract current year by birth year, which isnt accurate (my birthday is in late october 2008, im 16 but 2025-2008=17 which is displayed on your profile)
Making it so that entering a topic you're already visited lands you on the latest page would be pretty good
I'd be concerned about bringing up repeat suggestions, but hopefully more people asking for it will maybe bump it up on the priority list.
A quote function would be very appreciated. It would vastly improve engagement, since people would actually be notified when another user is initiating conversation with them. I don't know if its a retro thing, but I feel like quoting/replies are pretty standard for any forum.
Another would be the ability to watch a thread and be notified when a thread has been bumped since you last checked it. That's especially important for the health of forum adventures.
At the moment, it seems like you only get notified when someone posts in a thread you've created, which probably won't serve much of a purpose for most users! Moreover, it seems like you actually can't opt out of receiving these notifications.
I uploaded a broken gif as mt profile picture. It failed to change my pfp. Now every time I try to change my pfp it comes up with this error:
Avatar update failed. 500: Failed to delete old avatar. b: Not Found
//
Also I think bug reports and wishlists should probably be seperate threads? I understand there can be a lot of overlap but I had to read over a bunch of request for bbcode just so I can report a bug. And that's just 3 days worth of pages.
Just wanna double down on what people have already said, replies, topic following and a friends list would be amazing, especially replies which feel like basic forum functionality
Please foward all messages to your mothers house
Design suggestion: maybe it could be worth having the icons of the place where the topic comes from on the side of the topic? Because currently i can't really tell where it's from unless i open it.
clownin.
oh jesus, apologies for the image size on the previous post, thought it'd be scrollable.
clownin.
ooooh i do like this mockup though im vibing with this
For something I haven't seen from pre-existing forums, the ability to highlight specific posts in a thread would be nice for navigating longer discussions.

This one is a little silly, but after it was pointed out to me i've started seeing it everywhere. A lot of folks are using Discord links to images, and the way discord discords, the images disappear after not too long. Would it be possible to have it so when inserting an image link from discord it gives the user a little "Hey! just so you know this link rots really fast, we recommend using an image hosting site" or something? Even one of the mods here has had this happen to his signature. uh. anthy i think? And like its possible to recover the image if you post it into a discord channel (assuming the original image is still hosted in whatever server its stuck in) but as an archival reader of a thread thats gonna be (and maybe already is) a major headache.
I'm but a little lizard, there's something in my gizzard, 'twas put there by a wizard, they're 'bout to cast a blizzard!
My display name overflows the div in the "recent replies" section lol

Changing the HTML page's title to thread's title and page number would be nice. Currently it's a pain looking through my browser history and having to click on an entry to see the full URL just to tell which is which

WISHLIST (NEEDED BADLY):
-post editing. blease
-search
-let me sub to threads so that they wind up in my notifs when someone replies
-breadcrumbs BLEASE
WISHLIST (NICE BONUSES):
-bbcode quotes
-pinging people or some other way to notify them that youre replying to their post even if theyre not subscribed to the thread. Some people are suggesting nested replies similar to like, twitter threads or whatever. I would not prefer that but if that got added instead of my idea (or neither) it wouldn't be the end of the world
-when you hit reply the message stays in the box and im gonna double post on accident and that sucks
-please dont change the giant scrolling forum signatures its bad in a funny way (i wont be too upset if you fix it but please its so funny)
-bbcode emojis of basic things like aspects and shirt symbols
-private messaging

Probably already been suggested, but just in case: a changelog thread would be very useful, with one reply every time there's a new change, so people know to stop suggesting things that were just implemented, if they're subtle enough.
Well, the dream would be a Github repo so we can see the commits, but there are probably security implications for that.
Re: prev post, changed my display name to something shorter but can't trash it for some reason :V

It would be nice if threads saved your place. As is, no matter what way you navigate to a thread, it will ALWAYS bring you to the first page. Visiting a thread for the first time? First page. Revisiting a thread because its been bumped? First page. Navigating from a reply's permalink? First page. Replying to a thread takes you back to its first page! I've noticed this become a problem for my forum adventure, where people are still leaving commands for the first page of the thread, not realising that there's a second.
For that matter, I think clicking on a thread should bring you to the latest page by default. Every page already displays the opening post anyway, so why the insistence on bringing the user to page 1? At the very least, move page navigation to the top of the page instead of the bottom, like how it works in the subforums (though ideally it should be on the top and bottom).
If I make a post on a thread, and that post is the most recent one, getting the "One new post on this thread you looked at!" notification doesn't actually help me.

live banlog with attached "Raisins". call it the "Spoiled Bunch". probations/time-outs. call that the "Crisper Drawer"
This may have been pointed out already, but I had some trouble editing my profile. It gave an error message pointing me to the browser console, which seemed to indicate the problem had to do with my birthday. I had previously set my age to private, so I changed it to public, was able to edit my profile, and changed it back to private.
This isn't a huge problem for me, but it might be for other users. Thank you!
