Bug reports, known issues, wishlists

there's a glitch regarding if you've logged in & out of multiple accounts on the same browser! this might've just been because i logged in and out of many accounts in a short period of time, but i managed to switch between 3 different accounts while trying to edit an account and post a reply. i can elaborate in more detail exactly how to recreate the bug if asked (cyto has my discord, otherwise comment on my profile.) basically, logging out doesn't really FULLY log you out. clearing my cookies fixed the issue but thought i'd let it be known :)

while i'm here, i'm vouching for bbcode & custom statuses. i also support the user who said bug reports & wishlists should be separate threads. reading through 8 pages of wishlists to report a bug is a lot.

the ability to set a byline on the topic (if you want kind of silly topic name, like i am wont to do) would be nice. also maybe... some sort of "flair" system like reddit has might be useful in especially the homestuck board, considering og + epilogues + bc are all kind of lumped in there together. or maybe just separate boards for each work??

wishlist: ability to have images next to eachother instead of just one per line. would be fun to bring back shipping walls on our profile descriptions! i know one could just put everything into one image and make it less complex, but its not as fun :(

Re:tolueneturing This is usually fixed by unprivatizing your age. you can just make it private again after you edit whatever. obviously it would be better if editing profiles always worked.

Minor bug: when you post a reply in a thread you've visited before and then leave from the resulting page, the site acts as though the thread has changed since your last visit when it hasn't.

Wishlist: ability to block or hide threads/topics

open the vriscourse thread for 08/08 and ban everyone who doesn't post "I Love Vriska"

Requesting all of the threads related to the current drama to be moved/compiled to a specific category "Current business".

It's pretty exhausting to see like ten topics in Homestuck about the case, then to go to General Discussion and to see five more, and then to go to Creative and to see even more.

It's complete spam by this point, and it's way worse than the usual flood ecause all of these topics contain a number of unverifiable (or at least absolutely unsourced so far) allegations attacking one faction or another), as well as insults and death threats.

Ideally I'd say to keep only one topic on the drama and to copy/paste the content of the other ones in it before nuking it, but if you must absolutely keep them all, please move them in a specific area.

i agree with @oasis_nadrama. shit's gettin' way outta hand and at the very least nobody wants this all over the forums. especially with an incomplete story.

an option/button to automatically round down image sizes by half would be pretty nice, especially because i think the general sizing for images on the forum are on the smaller side than im used to and it leads to some images taking up like half the screen when i post them. i can do that manually too but that shit ANNOYING!!

I noticed a bug where messages notification with only images as a response are basically unclickable because there is no text to click. Maybe the file name of the image, or just the words "[replied with image]" could help? because the notifications only link to messages if there is text to assign a link to

After submitting a new post to a thread, the reply form isn't cleared, which may make it easier to accidentally double-post.

It'd be most likely to cause problems in single-page threads due to how posting automatically teleports you to the first page of the thread.

There's no password change on the profile settings, and no "forgot password" option on the Log In page. I cannot log in on one of my devices bc I cannot remember my password and if this login cookie drops i'm fucked

When I make a post, I don't want to be sent to page 1 of the thread. I want to be sent to the page my post is on. So I can read it and congratulate myself for being such a smart forum user.

An easier way to check on your most recent posts in general would be nice. Like a smaller sidebar with your 3-4 most recent replies

International language spaces in the forum if not already suggested. I only speak english, but many fans (new and old) speak others.

I've seen other forums create these areas as a welcoming and accessable space for their international user base. When things settle down a bit, talking to multilingual users about what they'd like to see would be cool.

This forum is very new, thank you to everyone on the team that's made it possible. Keep up the hard work.
