I feel like giving one guy control over all of these spaces is a little scary. Not to mention, they (because someone doesn't have pronouns in bio!) have been pretty vocal about supporting Gio and apparently the mods have started deleting any negative opinions of him off the Homestuck reddit, I don't know how it is with the Discord though I don't tread that far idk. I would recommend just not using these if you're concerned with unbiased reporting.
If you (or even Makin themselves, since I know they're here) can prove me wrong somehow, I'd also appreciate that, I'm not too concerned with keeping a grudge. These forums and Tumblr are one of the only major Homestuck communities on the web where everyone has gotten to speak their mind on the situation and it's really great.

I also think that for many of these bad actors the reaction to newer fans is so apparent, because many of them hated the idea of new people joining, but this thread is a great example of WHY we need new people so badly in the first place. And those newer fans will need a safe space to at least talk about the comic and relate to its themes without there being this inherent "ew..." vibe to the whole damn community lol.
