Where am I implying it’s a joke? Stage drag has always been a cruel imitation of transfeminine aesthetics. Actual trans women, the street queens, were treated badly while the people appropriating their aesthetics were able to material profit from it. This is the same thing that’s being done with psycholonials. If you want to discuss actual transmisogyny, what of March Eridan, or post canon Jade?

Anan, saying that drag has "always" been based on transfem "aesthetics" is frankly reductive to both drag history and transfeminine history.

This is the only topic you've commented on in the forums so I'll just assume that you're very passionate about the subject, so I think that you should really already know this and I don't have to explain in detail and derail this thread. If you would like to make your own thread on transmisogyny in Homestuck, I'm sure people would be interested.

Makin sucks, but making claims as to his bigotry for things he didn’t do is stupid. He created the spaces he runs. If you don’t like them, just create your own.

Other have said it, but Makin created those spaces, if someone does not like them, they're more than free to create their own spaces not owned by him. These forums are a good example of that.

Also, I find it bizarre to have a post about a know figure in the fandom in a public space, and then have people react negatively when they show up in said thread, maybe don't make it if you are not comfortable with the subject showing up.

I think its a bit obtuse to ignore that those "spaces he owns and are his" are also just the official discords and reddits for the comic. Like, sure it's his space or whatever, but this is a thread about how those spaces are also the only places to talk about the thing we all like and how he kind of sucks to be around, and how he for some reason has a monopoly on all these spaces. FRAF is like the first time he doesn't own the most popular way to talk about this comic. Besides the older forums that were shut down.

They're not official spaces, if Hussie or WhatPumpkin, or whoever is in charge of the IP, wanted to make an "Official" discord to give an alternative to the fan owned one they could easily do it and promote it.
