I agree too. I love this forum because it feels like most of the people like me (people who have been in the fandom for 10+ years and are wise to this bullshit already) are all like congregating here to shit on these bad actors.

i dont knoww gio personally so this is essentially useless analysis but the read i get of him means that i dont think this guy is a sock puppet account for twwo reasons

1) i think if gio wwas going to defend himself on the forums he wwould do it under his owwn name

2) i don't think he wwould feel the need to defend himself on the forums in the first place

Im sorry i had to look up what a Muckraker was but I was under the impression Gio was just "Some guy with a blog" is he like an actual journalist or something?

Also that is such a funny thing to call him when the 'corruption' he's 'exposing' is for a shit post webcomic series that has insane lore such as "ICP were dual presidents and Guy Fieri was the anti-christ" I would think you could only like be a muckraker...for serious things.

@Spinstress he is Nawt an actual journalist - he calls himself one because it makes him seem important/impartial when he is unfortunately none of those things. ancient (i hope...) is intentionally trolling by making it seem like he could be or wants to appear as if hes gio to "waste our time," but what ancient likely doesn't realize is that every time we have a round of back and forth here it pushes Carmi's thread to the top of the lists, thus amplifying it :)

@sword I'm guessing because the newer fans have started to actually discuss Homestuck again in a civil manner on reddit, that the usual angry trolls who were getting their quick dopamine hit from making other people just as angry as they were about this whole situation had to find somewhere else to get it. Cami's post was good IMO bc her photo added more context to the conversation that Gio had intentionally cropped out. Something a lot of parasocial Gio supporters seem to look past for some reason...
